I’m a Psychotherapist in private practice, working primarily with men who want to better understand themselves and improve the way they show up in relationships. Whether you’re navigating conflict in your marriage, feeling misunderstood by your partner, or struggling to put your emotions into words, therapy can offer the clarity and tools you need to move forward.

Many of the men I work with feel stuck in patterns they can’t quite name; shutting down during conflict, avoiding vulnerability, or carrying the pressure to always have it together. These aren’t character flaws; they are learned ways of coping that once made sense, but now might be getting in the way of connection and fulfillment.

My work focuses on helping you make sense of your emotional world and the deeper beliefs that shape how you relate to others. Together, we’ll explore how past experiences and current stressors influence your relationships and create space for more intention, honesty, and resilience.

In addition to individual work, I also specialize in couples therapy, particularly with couples who value having a male therapist in the room. My presence often helps men feel more seen and understood, and provides a balanced, steadying dynamic during emotionally charged conversations. Whether you’re struggling with communication, disconnection, conflict, or trust, couples work offers a powerful space to move from frustration toward clarity and reconnection.

I received my Bachelor’s degree in Human Development and Family Studies from Texas Tech University and my Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from The Family Institute at Northwestern University.

Why I Offer Private Pay Therapy

I’ve chosen to run a private-pay practice because it allows me to provide care that’s genuinely tailored to you, not dictated by insurance requirements or diagnostic checkboxes. Here’s why that matters:

    • More Privacy: Your information stays between us. Insurance companies don’t have access to your records or require a mental health diagnosis to approve sessions.
    • More Flexibility: We can focus on your goals, not just what fits into a treatment code. You're not limited to a specific number of sessions or boxed into a narrow definition of “medical necessity.”
    • More Depth: Some of the most meaningful work happens over time and isn’t always linear. Private pay gives us the freedom to go at the pace that’s right for you.
    • More Respect: You’re not a case number—we’re working as equals, building something meaningful that supports your growth, not just symptom reduction.

If you’re ready to understand yourself on a deeper level and create real, lasting change in your relationships and inner life, I’d be honored to support you.
